When PR Pros take on new clients, creating a distinct positioning becomes key to the strategy. Whether the client is presenting a new product, improving a new product, the industry leader, the biggest brand, or whatever, it’s our job to highlight how they are different. I wrote a few posts ago about how surveys can help you find your PR angle, and this post will talk in more detail about how.
Have you ever worked for a company that required annual internal reviews or audits of the staff? Well depending on the findings in these surveys, you may be able to…
Today, I discovered while combing the internet, an announcement about a news network which launched today. The network is called SocialMedian. Basically, it is a social news network that aims to resolve the information overload problem. Their goal is to distribute news features and enhancements every other day in direct response to user feedback.

However, over the past few years, women’s sports have grown immensely because of increased funding and programs in the community. So why is it some women’s sports are still resorting to “public relations” campaigns using the bodies and looks of its athletes?
Case in point, the LPGA and a recently released batch…
Princeton Review’s Annual College Rankings were published this week based on surveys completed by 120,000 students at 368 top colleges. Students were asked to rate their schools on a variety of topics and report on their campus experiences. Categories ranged from Best Career/ Job Placement Services, Best Classroom Experience, Most Diverse Student Body to Great College Town. While finishing at the top in certain areas would justify redesigning a university’s marketing collateral to include “Voted the #1 University for…”, there are other categories where certain high scoring institutions would have preferred to land at the bottom.
In contrast, the students were…
